About The Position

Trident Systems Space Electronic Systems (SES) develops high-performance space-based electronic systems for DoD, Intelligence Community, and civil space customers. The organization emphasizes strong engineering principles, continuous improvement, collaborative product development, and rigorous design and peer reviews. The Senior Manager, Project Engineering leads and develops the project engineering team, which serves as the integrating technical execution lead on space electronics programs. The team owns the engineering execution baseline, including scope and work breakdown structure, integrated master schedule, cost account performance and estimate-to-complete, technical risk, configuration management, and the technical review cadence. This role works in partnership with Program Managers, who hold program accountability, and Chief Engineers, who hold design authority. The successful candidate will have delivered complex hardware and software programs from concept through delivery, understand both EVMS program control and Agile development methods, and be able to develop engineers while holding the team accountable for its commitments. The role reports to the Director, Systems Engineering, Integration & Test, supervises others, and may require travel or off-site work.
