Senior Project Engineer (Onsite)
About The Position
Support the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to meet task and technical requirements and budget for all hardware and tasks. Prepare/present status and technical content to IPT Lead, CIPT & upper Pratt & Whitney management. Work closely with the Integrated Product Team and authorities on hardware field investigations to drive root cause and recommend product improvements. Evaluate product improvement opportunities and initiate process changes or support ESTO for Class II Engineering Changes. Support the Integrated Product Team in performing risk assessments and developing mitigation plans. Travel up to 10% (Domestic and International).
Requirements
- A Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering with 5+ years of engineering experience, OR Advanced degree in a related field with 3+ years of engineering experience.
- U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Experience working in the Aerospace Industry and jet engines.
- Previous gas turbine compressor experience.
- Hands-on experience with MS Office, Teamcenter, SAP, Smartsheets/Jira/Confluence.
