ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets and schedules, coordinating staff assignments as authorized by the Engineering Group Manager Sign and stamp design drawings or reports for work supervised Mentor junior staff Develop Proposals Business development Responsible for successful completion of assigned projects Assigns task(s) to other engineers or technicians Meets/corresponds with clients to obtain direction and provide feedback Communicates with Project Manager or Engineering Group Manager regarding job process, status, difficulties, and administrative issues Prepares design concepts and develops project plans and specifications Conducts design analysis for projects as required Conducts site visits/field investigations as required Oversees preparation of design documents Use computer programs and spread sheets for engineering analysis and presentations Edit word-processing documents and understand procedures for file saving, retrieving and transferring data Maintain project files, according to company document retention guidelines May not change scope of work without approval of Project Manager. Perform other duties as assigned
