DRS Technologies Canada Ltd. The Senior Project Engineer (PE) – Naval Communications Sustainment is the project engineering lead for assigned naval communications sustainment activities, including support to the SHINCOM product line, supporting production, repair, and sustainment programs at Leonardo DRS Canada. Reporting to the Chief Project Engineer, this role coordinates the engineering response to Engineering Problem Reports (EPRs), change activity, and targeted redesign efforts, ensuring the appropriate Engineering Managers, lead engineers, architects, and technical specialists are engaged in design integrity, technical disposition, and verification decisions. The PE coordinates engineering execution for assigned sustainment activities, ensuring that the appropriate Engineering Managers, lead engineers, architects, and technical specialists are engaged and that agreed engineering actions are tracked through closure. Program Management retains responsibility for cost, schedule, and contractual commitments.
