About The Position

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to support the development and execution of projects for commercial and military gas turbine engine hardware. In this role, you will coordinate across engineering and functional organizations to manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and deliverables while identifying risks and developing solutions to keep projects on track. You will have the opportunity to work with hardware supporting the Fan, Low Pressure Compressor (LPC), and High Pressure Compressor (HPC) while developing your project management, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills. What You Will Do: Manage project execution by developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, and integrated master schedules to ensure milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within established financial targets. Coordinate cross-functional activities across engineering and other functional organizations, ensuring teams remain aligned with project objectives, priorities, and customer commitments. Identify and resolve project risks and obstacles by analyzing data, evaluating alternatives, and developing recommendations that improve performance, efficiency, and project execution. Monitor project financial performance by tracking costs, forecasting revenue, re-estimating project costs, and providing inputs that support business and program objectives. Support commercial and military gas turbine hardware programs, gaining hands-on project engineering experience with components within the Fan, Low Pressure Compressor, and High Pressure Compressor systems. Travel Requirement: 10% (Domestic and International). What You Will Learn: Gain practical experience managing aerospace engineering projects from planning through execution while balancing scope, schedule, cost, and performance. Develop a deeper understanding of commercial and military gas turbine engine hardware, including Fan, LPC, and HPC components. Build cross-functional leadership skills by working with engineering and business organizations to solve problems and achieve shared program objectives. Strengthen your ability to use data-driven analysis, risk management, and problem-solving to identify issues and drive corrective actions. Develop proficiency in project planning and execution tools while gaining exposure to program financial management, forecasting, and integrated master scheduling.
