About The Position

As a senior technical leader, you will lead engineering projects from concept through construction — overseeing design, coordination, and project execution. You’ll lead design efforts, manage contract administration responsibilities, work directly with clients and multidisciplinary teams, and deliver projects on schedule and on budget. You have 7+ years of engineering experience, an active PE license, and a track record of leading projects with minimal oversight. You’re a trusted technical resource, confident making decisions, guiding junior staff, and maintaining project momentum in an environment where accountability, accuracy, and follow-through matter. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and PE license
  • 7+ years of professional engineering experience, including experience leading projects independently
  • Proficiency with BIM/drawing platforms and engineering design and analysis tools
  • Ability to independently lead complex design and analysis work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience managing project execution, contract administration, budgets, and coordination across disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate directly with clients, project teams, contractors, and junior staff
  • Sound technical judgment and the ability to identify issues, prioritize work, and keep projects moving forward

Responsibilities

  • Leading complex engineering design, analysis, and drafting efforts while ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and internal QA/QC procedures
  • Managing contract administration responsibilities and helping keep projects moving during construction
  • Leading projects from kickoff through closeout while coordinating directly with clients, Project Managers, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Owning project scope, schedules, budgets, and delivery expectations across multiple active projects
  • Preparing proposals, scopes of work, and fee structures that support projects staying organized, profitable, and on track
  • Guiding junior engineers through technical review, QA/QC processes, hands-on mentorship, and day-to-day project coordination
  • Building long-term client relationships by communicating clearly, solving problems quickly, and consistently delivering quality work
