About The Position

H2M Architects + Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Designer to join their team in New York, NY. This role involves coordinating with staff architects, engineers, and technicians on various projects. The Senior Project Designer will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior staff, managing project workload, schedules, budgets, and planning. Additionally, the position requires monitoring project financials, executing percent complete calculations and billing, and interviewing potential candidates for staff designer or intern architect roles. The Senior Project Designer will establish scope and conceptual designs with clients, author technical sections of proposals, create presentations for prospective clients, and be involved in the development of construction documents.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, or a closely related field.
• 2 years of experience in the job offered or in Project Management/Design.
• 2 years of work experience with/using Autodesk Revit.
• 2 years of work experience with/using Autodesk AutoCAD.
• 2 years of work experience with/using Photoshop.
• 2 years of work experience with/using Indesign.
• 2 years of work experience with/using Sketchup.

Responsibilities
