About The Position

H2M Architects, Engineers, Land Surveying and Landscape Architecture d/b/a H2M Architects + Engineers is seeking a Senior Project Designer 1 in New York, NY. This role involves coordinating with staff architects, engineers, and technicians on projects, training and mentoring staff designers and architectural interns, and managing workload scheduling, budget, and planning. The position also includes monitoring project financials, executing percent’s and billing, interviewing staff designer or intern architect candidates, establishing scope and conceptual designs with clients, authoring technical sections of proposals, creating presentations for prospective clients, and the development of construction documents. Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Urban Planning, or a closely related field.
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or in Project Management/Design.
  • 2 years of work experience with/using Autodesk Revit.
  • 2 years of work experience with/using Autodesk AutoCAD.
  • 2 years of work experience with/using Photoshop.
  • 2 years of work experience with/using Indesign.
  • 2 years of work experience with/using Sketchup.

Responsibilities
