The Senior Project Analyst is responsible for supporting and progressively leading the delivery of large-scale undersea telecommunications projects, while developing the skills and experience required for advancement into a Project Manager role. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional stakeholders, the Senior Project Analyst assumes increasing ownership of project planning, execution, customer engagement, commercial management, and risk mitigation activities. Projects are managed with a strong commercial focus, operating as profit and loss centers with objectives that include protecting and improving project margins through cost savings, revenue opportunities, contract variations, and effective risk management. The Senior Project Analyst contributes to project strategy development and may independently lead smaller projects, workstreams, or designated phases of larger programs under the mentorship of a Project Manager. The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to address customer and internal challenges, manage ambiguity, and drive successful project execution. Responsibilities include project planning, budget and schedule management, contract administration, customer communications, risk and opportunity management, and coordination of cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, production, finance, marine, sales, and quality. The Senior Project Analyst serves as a key contributor to project success while gaining the experience and competencies necessary to transition into a Project Manager position.
