About The Position

Manage the financial performance of multiple projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, billing, and cost tracking. Partner with project managers and operational leaders to monitor project financial health. Analyze project profitability and provide insights to support strategic business decisions. Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities associated with projects. Ensure compliance with contract terms and financial requirements. Oversee revenue recognition and job cost reporting for assigned projects. Perform and support month-end close activities related to project accounting. Review financial data and reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance. Prepare and present financial analyses to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff. Assist in improving accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls. Maintain accurate project financial records and documentation. Support decision-making through financial reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Utilize strong analytical and project-based accounting expertise to drive project success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of construction accounting experience
  • Experience with vista
  • Experience with Project accounting
  • Experience with Job costing
