JOB SUMMARY Jabil is seeking a driven and innovative Senior Program Office Manager to join our Legal and Compliance organization and help advance the evolution of our global Compliance Office. This is a high impact role responsible for driving portfolio governance, program execution discipline, and project management excellence across enterprise compliance initiatives. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of the Program & Policy Office. As part of the Program & Policy Office, the Senior Program Office Manager provides strategic oversight of the Compliance Office project portfolio and ensures initiatives are aligned with enterprise priorities, regulatory obligations, and risk management objectives. Programs may span Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), policy governance, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Ethics & Integrity Hotline, and Global Trade & Regulatory Compliance. This role also leads the development and continuous improvement of program management standards, governance frameworks, reporting cadence, and portfolio visibility. The Senior Program Office Manager will manage a team of program and project managers, ensure consistent application of project methodology, and provide executive level reporting on portfolio health, risk exposure, and delivery performance. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in program and portfolio management, structured problem-solving, process design, and facilitation of strategic planning sessions. Experience operating within compliance, governance, or risk environments is preferred but not required. This role requires strong leadership presence, the ability to influence without direct authority, and the capability to translate strategic compliance priorities into structured, measurable execution with clear accountability and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required
  • Must be capable of navigating a global organization and team with respect to country cultures, company divisions and internal hierarchies
  • Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required
  • Consultative skills (ability to understand true project needs)

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated high performance orientation, detail orientation, and sound judgment
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Organizational effectiveness, strategic planning, or LEAN methodology or similar certifications preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years work-related experience required in a supervisory/management role AND
  • Minimum 7 years project management experience or related discipline.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all projects and initiatives in project management services are aligned with business strategy and priorities.
  • Partners and collaborates directly with Program and Functional Leads to ensure PMO governance is effectively and efficiently being applied in delivery of initiatives.
  • Demonstrates most effective execution of projects within the Compliance Office.
  • Ensures adoption and implementation of project and program management methodology and tools and oversees project and program management coaching.
  • Manages the development, implementation, and maintenance of project management policies, standards, procedures.
  • Works with Project/Program Managers to review, monitor project health.
  • Establishes and implements metrics that measure project performance.
  • Determines the project health by measuring the variance in scope, schedule, cost and quality from the respective baselines.
  • Develops and maintains the leadership dashboard. Provide reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Monitors resource usage tracking and ensures the optimized usage of resources.
  • Provides leaders with updates, including greatest opportunities for improvement.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, making key risk issues a priority.
  • Coaches Project/Program Managers through difficult decision-making situations.
  • Builds PMO team to address the project/program execution for multi or enterprise level projects.
  • Tracks, evaluates and reports on deliverable status from multiple sources in a cross-functional geographically-distributed team environment.
  • Creates working relationships with project managers and other PMO’s.
  • Works closely with communications, stakeholders, and management to stay informed of important company information to evaluate and measure program effectiveness and impact on the business.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
