About The Position

Provides executive-level leadership and oversight for federal IT operations and modernization programs supporting mission and enterprise environments. Responsible for overall contract execution, customer engagement, staffing oversight, operational performance, financial management, risk mitigation, and delivery accountability across all functional task areas.

Requirements

Must be a US citizen
Must Reside in the DMV Area (DC, Maryland, Virginia)
Must have a minimum of 10-years Experience
10+ years of federal IT program management experience
Experience managing federal O&M or modernization programs.
Strong leadership and customer engagement skills

Nice To Haves

Master's Degree Highly Preferred
PMP certification preferred
ITIL certification preferred

Responsibilities

Lead overall contract and task order execution.
Manage staffing, financials, schedules, and customer engagement.
Oversee risk management and escalation activities.
Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams.
Ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Integrates all functions and activities necessary to perform the project/program to meet NTSB’s requirements.
Plans and implements actions by the program/project team to define and implement technical baseline and meet quality requirements for project/program products and services.
Direct project team personnel, manage costs and schedule, ensure contract compliance, and serve as principal customer interface.
Proactively anticipates any project risks and issues and ensures adequate mitigation efforts are put in place to ensure overall delivery is not compromised.
Provides problem definition, evaluation of requirements, and implementation of systems to meet business, user, and cost requirements.
Prepare communications and make presentations on recommendations on system enhancements or alternatives.
Acts as a functional expert.
