The TSET Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) at the Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking an innovative, strategic, and highly collaborative Senior Program Manager to join our team of scientists dedicated to advancing cancer prevention, chronic disease prevention, health promotion, and population health research. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader and researcher who is passionate about improving health outcomes, advancing evidence-based interventions, and driving meaningful change through research, community partnerships, and program excellence.

Requirements

Master's degree.
36 months of program administration or related experience.
Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

Prior experience managing a behavioral science research lab, clinical trial management, and data collection.
Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Able to supervise staff and communicate directions and expectations effectively.
Strong initiative to solve problems.
Degree in psychology, sociology, public health, medicine, or other health related field.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of NIH-funded smoking/alcohol cessation randomized controlled trials (4 currently) that utilize technology (e.g., smartphone applications) to prevent cancer in Oklahoma and across the United States.
Manage a large group of research assistants.
Oversee day-to-day operations of the lab including strategic leadership, program development, program and project management, grant and contract management, team leadership and training, and stakeholder and community engagement.
