Our work depends on a Sr. Program Manager joining our team to support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Software Product management (SPM) Office, Benefits and Memorial Services (BAM) Portfolio.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of portfolio/project management experience
  • 7+ years of experience working in agile environments
  • 4+ years of experience in requirements management
  • IT Governance experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Experience with software development methodologies, such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and databases.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, infrastructure specialists, and other stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or IT; four additional years of related experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Public Trust clearance
