About The Position

We currently have an opening for an SENIOR-LEVEL PROGRAM MANAGER at our Torrance, California location. In this position you will support matrixed, multidisciplinary teams in the development and production of satellite traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTAs) for commercial and DoD customers.

Requirements

  • At least 5-10 years of program management, marketing, sales, operations or engineering experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and project management software (such as Microsoft Project)
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to succinctly address complex issues and action plans with program team members, peers, and senior management
  • Ability to work independently on multifaceted program issues
  • Capability and flexibility to handle multiple tasks in restricted time frames to support program and company goals
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is needed
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, the applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (e.g. Green Card holder), or a protected individual as defined by the International Traffic in Arm Regulations (ITAR).

Nice To Haves

  • CRM and ERP skills are desired
  • Program management certification or equivalent a plus

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the sales and program management support for multiple programs and customers
  • Leadership within business management and functional management to ensure that workload, staffing plans, work processes, and procedures are aligned
  • Lead programs through all phases, from proposal preparation and submission, contract negotiation, baseline, PDR, CDE, MRR, TRR, qualification, validation, production, and delivery
  • Ownership of preparation and delivery of detailed program review packages to senior management and customers
  • Lead new business proposals, project projections, and analysis of requirements as needed
  • Build trusting and valued customer relationships
