About The Position

This role is for an experienced Senior Program Manager supporting an Air Force acquisition mission at Eglin AFB, FL, specifically focused on the sustainment and modernization of Mission Planning Systems. The candidate will provide T&E technical and engineering support across the full test spectrum, including concept development, methodology development, plan development, execution, and reporting, encompassing data reduction and analysis and end-user operational testing. The Mission Planning Division (AFLCMC/C3M) manages multiple Acquisition Category (ACAT) III and SWAP Acquisition Pathway Automated Information System (AIS) development and modernization programs, responsible for delivering enterprise mission planning software (MPS) for all AF aviation platforms. MPS is a modular system of software air navigation planning applications designed to support new aircraft Operational Flight Programs (OFPs), avionics upgrades, and additional weapons integration for the Joint Warfighter. It bridges the gap between the databases required for command and control (e.g., Air Tasking Order, targeting, threat, terrain, aeronautical flight information) and the information needed by aircraft avionics and aircrew mission folders. A mission planning suite includes the necessary software, hardware, and global grid linkages for planning, developing, and sharing mission plans, and delivering critical mission data to the aircraft. This is a full-time position located at Eglin AFB, Niceville, FL.
