ASI is seeking a Program Manager (PM) to work onsite in Jacksonville, FL. The PM will oversee planning , execution, and performance monitoring, while maintaining responsibility for task order success through qualified staffing, adherence to Performance Work Statement requirements, and effective management of cost, schedule, performance, and resources across multiple efforts.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in program/project management for DoD systems or related efforts to include
  • Managing cost, schedule, and performance for large or complex task orders or programs
  • Applying DoD acquisition processes and policies (DoD 5000 series) in support of program execution
  • Providing technical and programmatic oversight of systems integration, configuration control, test and evaluation, and supportability
  • Bachelors degree
  • Associate degree plus an additional 4 years of program management, acquisition, or operational experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus an additional 6 years of program management, acquisition, or operational experience may be substituted for degree
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be qualified to obtain a Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Program Management or related field
  • Experience supporting Naval Aviation or DoD aircraft systems and subsystems
  • Familiarity with Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements and lifecycle logistics planning
  • Experience with configuration management tools and processes for complex systems
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and integration processes
  • Experience supporting Technical Directives (TDs), test and evaluation, or airworthiness-related activities
  • Proficiency with program management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, ProjectLibre, or similar scheduling tools)
  • Strong background in risk management, issue tracking, and performance reporting within DoD programs
  • Experience working in a contractor support environment interfacing with Government customers

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary interface with Government program authorities for all program, project, and contract administration matters
  • Lead execution of task orders by applying DoD acquisition and program management principles (DoD 5000 series)
  • Provide technical and programmatic direction across aircraft systems and subsystems, including hardware/software, integration, and supportability
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee project execution to ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and performance objectives
  • Develop and implement program management processes, procedures, and controls
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation strategies
  • Manage and allocate resources across multiple concurrent efforts to meet program priorities
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams, including systems engineering, logistics, and financial management personnel
  • Ensure staffing of qualified personnel to meet Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements
  • Support technical reviews, milestone events, and interim/final program deliverables
  • Oversee configuration control, test and evaluation activities, and systems integration efforts
  • Interface with stakeholders to resolve issues, support decision-making, and maintain program alignment
