About The Position

The Ultra Project and Program function is responsible for providing the strategy for the planning and execution of all development and production programs. The function controls program costs, manages adherence to technical and schedule performance plans. The function manages the risks and opportunities and directly interfaces with customers as required. The Program Management function in Ultra manages one or more projects and program as a group to achieve strategic goals and objectives. The function is accountable for the cumulative performance (to time, quality, cost and/or as-bid Gross Margin) of the projects and of the individuals performing the management of each project. A professional at this grade applies technical / professional knowledge, making independent judgements based on practice and significant previous experience to support decision making. Often seen as a referral point or more senior team member to escalate more complex problems. Roles will act independently with minimal guidance, and may act as project managers/formal mentors for junior staff.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Program Management experience
  • Minimum Secret Security Clearance is required
  • Candidates may need to obtain the relevant security clearance or handle export-controlled material as defined by the role's requirements.
