About The Position

We are searching for a Senior Program Manager, Commercial Growth to join the Operations Excellence team, who would be based in Dallas, TX. In this role, you will be playing a critical role in facilitating our operational expansion plans that fuel commercial growth. You'll serve as a strategic & execution-oriented liaison between our Operations and Business Development team, ultimately evaluating commercial growth opportunities and translating them into our actionable operations plans and business results. This is not just program management - it's strategic orchestration, balancing cross-functional needs, and driving momentum under a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Requirements

  • BS or experience in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, Finance)
  • 5+ years of experience in program management or operations strategy experience
  • Track record of multi-functional leadership and excellent stakeholder management to drive rapid, effective execution across the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, collaboration, presentation, and communication skills
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex trade-offs and present data and recommendations for strategic decisions to executive stakeholders.
  • Superior attention to detail and strong business acumen
  • Proficient/advanced modeling skills in Excel/Gsheets
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment and not afraid to roll up sleeves
  • Ownership mentality to drive issues and tasks to completion, with a strong bias for action

  • Prior experience in autonomous vehicles, logistics, or airline industry

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between Business Development, Operations, Strategy, and Finance to ensure that commercial opportunities are translated into operationally viable programs
  • Drive the planning, timelines, execution, and performance monitoring of operational programs that support commercial growth
  • Lead readiness efforts for new customers - including operating procedures, lane design, terminal capacity planning, contract compliance, and performance monitoring
  • Leverage a deep understanding of the needs and constraints of our logistics partners to enhance service delivery and cost-effectiveness
  • Analyze the distribution of the Aurora Driver fleet to best service customer demand, evaluate cost trade-offs and support revenue growth planning
  • Identify resource constraints and risks and facilitate conversations that drive action where needed to fill gaps in delivery
  • Monitor commercial KPIs and identify program gaps or execution issues that impact profitability and scalability

Benefits

  • The base salary range for this position is $98,00-141,000.
  • Aurora's pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
  • Within the range, the successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions.
  • These ranges may be modified in the future.
  • The successful candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus, equity compensation, and benefits.
