POSITION SUMMARY The Sr Growth & Commercial Strategy Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping Newrez’s enterprise growth strategy. In partnership with the SVP, Head of Growth & Commercial Strategy, this individual will lead strategic planning efforts, drive opportunity identification across products and partnerships, and own the development of total addressable market (TAM) assessments and timing roadmaps. This individual will work across functions, influence key priorities, and turn insights into action, gaining exposure to corporate strategy, digital innovation, and growth acceleration all in one role while building hands-on skills in financial modeling/analytics, problem-solving, and structured communication. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical rigor, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to influence high-impact decisions and cross-functional execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years’ experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate strategy, or similar analytical roles.
  • Proven track record of leading strategic initiatives and influencing executive decision-making.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to structure problems and draw insights from data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to distill complex topics for executive audiences.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships across the organization.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and a bias toward action.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with ability to handle multiple, complex, and competing priorities/projects
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; exposure to SQL, Tableau, or Power BI a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Growth Analytics Lead development of enterprise-wide strategic growth plans, including market sizing, competitive benchmarking, and opportunity prioritization.
  • Own TAM analysis and roadmap timing for new products, partnerships, and channels.
  • Identify and champion new growth vectors across core and adjacent markets.
  • Business Case Development and Financial Modeling Build and lead financial models to evaluate strategic initiatives, including ROI, payback, and scenario planning.
  • Translate insights into executive-ready recommendations that drive investment decisions.
  • Guide junior team members in model structuring and analysis.
  • Customer Experience, Digital and Partnership Initiatives to enable growth Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for product and partner initiatives, aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Lead market scans and diligence for partnership opportunities, including financial and strategic fit assessments.
  • Collaborate with product and digital teams to align customer experience enhancements with growth strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration and Executive Support Serve as a strategic thought partner to business leaders across Finance, Product, Marketing, Technology, and Analytics.
  • Prepare and present materials for Executive Leadership and Board meetings, including strategic updates and investment cases.
  • Drive alignment and execution across functions to ensure timely delivery of strategic initiatives.
  • M&A/diligence support (ad-hoc) Lead diligence efforts for M&A opportunities, including market analysis, synergy modeling, and integration planning.
  • Support value creation strategies post-acquisition.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by management.
