About The Position

The Senior Program Management Organization Leader will lead a team of 4-6 Program Managers and 5 Hardware Owners to drive execution across program priorities. This role serves as a key interface with both internal and external customers and is responsible for ensuring program needs are aligned with shop commitments to support delivery and execution objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of leading program management teams) + minimum of 5 years of leading program management teams experience.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance
  • Access to U.S. export-controlled information.
  • Ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e., a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).

Responsibilities

  • Manage program managers and hardware owners in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety.
  • Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards.
  • Team management of salaried employees.
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
  • Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders.
  • Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations.
  • Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
