About The Position

Credence has an immediate need for a Senior Program Engineer supporting the Long-Range Systems Division, (AFLCMC/EBJ) at Eglin AFB, Florida. The Long-Range Systems Division, AFLCMC/EBJ, has responsibility for developing, producing, and sustaining the Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile (JASSM), JASSM-Extended Range (JASSM-ER), the Long-Range Anti-Ship Missile (LRASM), and any new Long-Range air delivered systems. This role focuses on requirements development, technical analysis, systems integration, engineering documentation, and program support for complex defense systems. This job is onsite at Eglin AFB, FL.

Requirements

  • Must have an active or current Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a related discipline from an ABET accredited college or university and twenty (20) years of relevant experience Or a master’s degree in a related discipline and at least fifteen (15) years of relevant experience.
  • Must have test and integration engineering experience.
  • Experience in weapons test and platform integration.
  • Prior support of weapon system acquisition programs or advanced test/evaluation environments.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles, requirements development, risk management, and verification/validation.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical data and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting DoD systems, acquisition programs, or weapon system engineering preferred.
  • Familiarity with DoDI 5000.02 and Air Force acquisition processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering activities across all phases of DoD acquisition, including requirements, architecture, design, integration, test, and verification/validation.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation such as engineering plans, reports, briefings, and review artifacts.
  • Evaluate mission needs, user requirements, system concepts, and capability gaps.
  • Conduct trade studies, cost analyses, risk assessments, and modeling/simulation to support program decisions.
  • Review proposals, modifications, design data, drawings, and system performance results for technical accuracy and feasibility.
  • Support Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) using government-approved tools and methods.
  • Provide engineering support for system integration, upgrades, training systems, and simulator evaluations.
  • Participate in technical reviews such as CDRs, TRAs, TIMs, and readiness assessments.
  • Assist in source selection activities in an advisory capacity (non‑decision‑making).
  • Provide program engineering support for acquisition, development, testing, deployment, sustainment, and risk management.
  • Prepare technical presentations, reports, and recommendations for leadership and stakeholders.
