The Senior Program Coordinator will assist in the coordination of the undergraduate History major and minor program, supporting the Director of Undergraduate Studies, Department Administrator and departmental leadership. This position serves as first point of contact for the department and will assist students and others with questions about the department by phone, email and in person, directing inquiries to other members of the department as needed.

Requirements

  • B.A./ B.S. required
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in administrative support

  • Working knowledge of Adobe Suite preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance of the departmental website and social media
  • Convocation and event planning
  • Maintaining undergraduate student records
  • Assisting with the course schedule process and overseeing department proprietary room schedules
  • Editing and publishing the department newsletter
  • Advertising events and courses
  • Conduct and coordinate the selection, processing, supervision, and assignment of work-study staff
