About The Position

The Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for Child Care Scholarships. Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to coordinate and communicate with other team members and external partners
• Ability to perform complex tasks within required deadline
• Bachelor's degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study
• 5 years of experience with local government, nonprofit programs, schools, or in job-related duties

• Experience with local government funding and contract management

Responsibilities

• Assist with application tracking and onboarding of new childcare providers
• Assist with updating processes related to childcare scholarships
• Ensure services are compliant with all federal, state and local laws and regulations
• Review and complete various childcare reports
• Answer calls and emails from childcare providers
