The Services team works closely together to set PowerSchool customers up for ongoing success through post-implementation support, troubleshooting, consultation on system setup options, and training on features and functionality. The team offers cross-portfolio support, all while meeting organizational objectives for revenue, utilization, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Education Administration, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3+ years of ERP implementation, consulting, or application support experience.
  • Experience working with ERP software in finance, payroll, human resources, or procurement functions.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience facilitating customer meetings, workshops, and training sessions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with Atrieve and/or eFinancePlus.
  • Knowledge of K-12 school district business operations.
  • Understanding of: Fund Accounting, Payroll and HR Processes, State Reporting Requirements, Budget Development, Position Control, Purchasing and Procurement.
  • Experience with data conversion, integration, and reporting tools.
  • Consulting or professional services experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support implementations of Atrieve and eFinancePlus ERP solutions.
  • Facilitate discovery, design, and business process review sessions with customers.
  • Analyze customer requirements and translate them into application configurations.
  • Configure modules, workflows, security, business rules, and system settings.
  • Assist with data conversion planning, validation, reconciliation, and testing activities.
  • Support go-live preparation, deployment, stabilization, and project closure activities.
  • Identify risks, issues, and mitigation strategies throughout project execution.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in K-12 financial and administrative operations.
  • Advise customers on best practices for: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Budget Preparation, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Human Resources, Workflow and Approvals, State Reporting.
  • Recommend process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Assist customers with adoption of new features and software enhancements.
  • Develop and execute testing strategies and test scenarios.
  • Support unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate system functionality and ensure alignment with documented business requirements.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and coordinate resolutions with technical teams.
  • Develop customer-specific training materials and job aids.
  • Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and train-the-trainer sessions.
  • Create implementation documentation, configuration guides, and process workflows.
  • Transfer knowledge to customers and internal teams.
  • Provide post-go-live consulting and stabilization support.
  • Participate in Annual Expert Services (AES) engagements.
  • Conduct office hours, optimization reviews, and health-check sessions.
  • Support customers with annual, seasonal, and compliance-related processes.
  • Assist with enhancement requests and solution optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with Project Managers to manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Support, Product Management, Development, and Technical Services teams.
  • Document project activities and maintain accurate project records.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge bases, best practices, and reusable implementation assets.
