We're looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and driven Senior Production Control Specialist to join our team in Pendergrass, Georgia. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 5+ year of experience in Production Control, Planning, Inventory Control, or Manufacturing Operations
  • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Experience with MRP and inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, TPS, JIT, 5S, and Kaizen principles
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong communicator and team player
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Passion for continuous improvement and process optimization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AS400, Power Link, and ITEMS is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Developing production schedules based on customer demand and manufacturing capacity
  • Managing raw material and finished goods inventory levels to support Just-In-Time (JIT) manufacturing
  • Investigating inventory discrepancies, performing root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions
  • Coordinating cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Supporting material procurement from domestic and international suppliers
  • Maintaining bills of materials (BOMs) and part number data
  • Collaborating with Production, Quality, Logistics, and Customer teams to ensure operational success
  • Driving continuous improvement activities through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and TPS principles
  • Leading complex projects and cross-functional initiatives
  • Supporting and mentoring team members
  • Driving department goals and continuous improvement activities
  • Managing projects with minimal supervision
  • Participating in strategic planning, budgeting, and operational improvements
  • Promoting safety, teamwork, and associate engagement
