About The Position

Perform tasks related to receiving, warehousing and releasing materials into production. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Requirements

Current US Govt security clearance or the ability and willingness to obtain US Govt security clearance
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Receiving, classifying and stocking incoming goods. This includes ERP updating, managing stocking conditions, and knowing "what is where".)
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or have been granted asylee or refugee status).

Responsibilities

Receive, classify, and stock incoming goods.
Update ERP systems.
Manage stocking conditions.
Know "what is where".
Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline.
Support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
Understand how work of own team contributes to the area.
Resolve issues using established procedures.
Consult supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
Collaborate with others to solve issues.
For customer facing roles, develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE.
Exchange technical information, ask questions and check for understanding.
