About The Position

Perform tasks related to receiving, warehousing and releasing materials into production. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Requirements

  • Current US Govt security clearance or the ability and willingness to obtain US Govt security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Receiving, classifying and stocking incoming goods. This includes ERP updating, managing stocking conditions, and knowing "what is where".)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. lawful permanent resident, U.S. Citizen, or have been granted asylee or refugee status).

Responsibilities

  • Receive, classify, and stock incoming goods.
  • Update ERP systems.
  • Manage stocking conditions.
  • Know "what is where".
  • Develop conceptual knowledge of professional discipline.
  • Support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
  • Apply general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
  • Understand how work of own team contributes to the area.
  • Resolve issues using established procedures.
  • Consult supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborate with others to solve issues.
  • For customer facing roles, develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE.
  • Exchange technical information, ask questions and check for understanding.
