In this role, the Senior Product Specialist will define and manage the CST product portfolio, including pricing, market assessment, physician education, and marketing activities aligned with regional needs. The specialist will support the commercial success of Medtronic’s portfolio by providing on-site education, clinical and technical support, and partnering closely with Sales, Clinical, and Regional teams. This position serves as a trusted technical resource to drive product adoption, identify growth opportunities, and deliver strong clinical and business outcomes. This position is flexwork in Puerto Rico, San Juan. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed
  • Practical knowledge and demonstrated competence within job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
  • Experience working with medical device distributors
  • Fluent in English (minimum level required B2)
  • Sales-oriented
  • MS Office Suite knowledge
  • Strategic vision
  • Effective communication
  • For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required
  • Possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment (for roles below Principal level)

Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the CST product portfolio, including pricing, market assessment, physician education, and marketing activities aligned with regional needs
  • Support the commercial success of Medtronic’s portfolio by providing on-site education, clinical and technical support, and partnering closely with Sales, Clinical, and Regional teams
  • Serve as a trusted technical resource to drive product adoption, identify growth opportunities, and deliver strong clinical and business outcomes
  • Develop and review short- and long-term corporate plans, goals, and objectives for a specific product or product line
  • Conduct competitive product analysis and market research, including consumer behavior and healthcare professional insights
  • Evaluate the profitability and feasibility of new products or product enhancements
  • Develop production and go-to-market strategies and tactics to ensure effective product positioning aligned with market opportunities
  • Work closely with Product Development throughout the product, brand, or portfolio lifecycle
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to finalize product specifications
  • Lead advertising and promotional activities to support brand equity
  • Serve as a technical advisor, including product demonstrations and resolution of product-related issues
