About The Position

Boeing is hiring for a Senior Product Security Engineer to join their team. This role is part of the Boeing Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center, responsible for protecting critical computers in Boeing's defense platforms. The position offers the opportunity to work across Boeing's defense portfolio, focusing on design, integration, and test engineering. Senior Integration Engineers collaborate with customers to define system requirements and architectures, oversee new designs, and manage the system lifecycle through testing and fielding. The team is expanding to develop and implement unique protection solutions for both hardware and software across Boeing and supplier products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 9+ years of work-related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 7+ years of work-related experience with a Master’s degree, or 4+ years with a PhD.
  • Experience in design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems.
  • Experience supporting Military/Defense customers.
  • Active U.S. Secret US Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) or above, with the ability to obtain additional clearances.
  • A final Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the anti-tamper or product security domains.
  • Experience in requirements analysis.
  • Experience or interest in cryptography, secure communications protocols and reverse engineering techniques at a system and component level.
  • Experience or interest in commercial off the shelf (COTS) FPGAs and COTS security features.
  • Current US Top Secret Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support development programs, research efforts, and strategic initiatives in the areas of Product Security / Anti-Tamper.
  • Develop requirements, documentation, test plans, and test procedures, and participate in verification activities for Anti-tamper development efforts.
  • Collaborate with platform chief engineers, chief architects, and team leads to define platform architectures and implementations for advanced tactical capabilities.
  • Work onsite at the Berkeley, MO location.
