About The Position

Boeing is seeking experienced Product Security Engineers (Software) to join their team in Berkeley, MO. This role involves contributing to the design and development of key computing assets embedded in advanced Boeing defense platforms. The engineer will be part of the Boeing Anti-Tamper Engineering Capability Center, responsible for protecting critical computers across all Boeing defense products. This position offers the opportunity to work on products across Boeing’s entire defense portfolio, with a focus on software development. The role includes supporting requirements definition, creating software architectures, implementing software designs, and testing security solutions and computing devices. The team is expanding to ensure new protection solutions are fielded across Boeing and supplier products, spanning both hardware and software domains. This position is expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications.
  • Experience in design, development, and integration of complex electronic systems or subsystems.
  • Experience supporting Military/Defense customers.
  • Active U.S. Secret US Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required) (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) or above and the ability to obtain additional clearances, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • A final Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the anti-tamper or product security domains.
  • Experience in requirements analysis.
  • Experience or interest in cryptography, secure communications protocols and reverse engineering techniques at a system and component level.
  • Experience or interest in commercial off the shelf (COTS) FPGA's and COTS security features.
  • Current US Top Secret Clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support development programs, research efforts, and strategic initiatives in the areas of Product Security / Anti-Tamper.
  • Develop, document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems.
  • Work with platform chief engineers, chief architects, and team leads to define platform architectures and implementations that will allow the fielding and sales of the most advanced tactical capabilities.
