About The Position

Visa is seeking a driven and client-focused Cross Border (FX) Senior Manager to join their global Visa team. This role is responsible for originating, managing, and growing FX revenue from clients in the cross-border payments space, including payment service providers (PSPs), fintechs, remittance companies, global merchants, banks, and neobanks. The successful candidate will deliver cross-border solutions that support seamless, compliant, and efficient global payments.

Requirements

  • 8 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 12 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/ JD/MD) or a minimum of 10 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Strong understanding of cross-border payments, currency conversion flows, and transaction-level FX.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., PSD2, EMIs, MSBs, AML/KYC) in the payments industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain complex FX concepts clearly.
  • Results-oriented with strong negotiation and commercial acumen.

Nice To Haves

  • 9 or more years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, PhD).
  • Experience with FX pricing engines, APIs, and integration with client payment systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a portfolio of payments-sector clients, offering tailored FX solutions that support their cross-border transaction needs.
  • Promote FX payment products including cash, tom, and spot contracts, to PSPs, fintechs, and remittance clients.
  • Partner with product, operations, and compliance teams to integrate FX capabilities into client payment flows (e.g., via API, portal, and payment files).
  • Consult with clients on FX payment processes, pricing strategies, and market timing to optimize execution and reduce volatility.
  • Collaborate with internal FX trading and liquidity teams to deliver competitive pricing and efficient execution.
  • Track performance metrics to drive revenue growth and product adoption across key accounts.
  • Ensure all client interactions meet regulatory and compliance standards, particularly those relevant to payment flows.
