About The Position

As a Program Manager within the Fire Protection Systems “FPS” business, you will play a pivotal role in customer engagements & processes for assigned customers and programs. The Program Manager is responsible for scope, schedule, cost and customer commitments for a defined period of performance and product/project. As a Product Manager you will drive output growth, expand margins through cost and yield improvement initiatives, industrialize new technology and drive project execution. You will lead your Program Management team’s performance and strategic initiatives. You will be responsible for the financial performance and execution in line with internal and external requirements.

• A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Lead Program Management Teams: Lead cross-functional teams of various sizes in support of customer deliveries, supplier management, quality responses, proposals, and NPI/technology programs. Utilize operational & leadership experience to drive improvement into a wide variety of audiences.
• SIOP Planning: Analyze demand and supply data to meet our customers’ needs while optimizing product line profitability in support of strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize business processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and Collins partners, understanding their needs, and support tailored solutions to drive growth. Responsible for negotiations with contracts within boundaries and ensure completion of contract deliverables.
• New Business Development: Support new business opportunities including identifying potential product opportunities, conducting cost analyses and engineering estimates to support development of proposals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, quality, manufacturing engineering, operations, SIOP and customer service to ensure seamless execution of OEM and aftermarket programs and initiatives.
