About The Position

Our growing team is looking for a Senior Product Owner - SIEM, UEBA Specialist! As part of the Detection Engineering team, you will be the Senior Product Owner, as well as a SIEM, UEBA Specialist (50% of your time).

Requirements

  • Experience in SIEM with Microsoft Sentinel, AWS and Google.
  • SOAR automation.
  • UEBA.
  • Agentic AI.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or any combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • 8 to 10 years in cybersecurity or Devops or with an infrastructure team.
  • At least 3 years of experience in IT Security monitoring (SIEM, SOAR, XDR, TIP, UEBA).
  • Good understanding of the Agile development process and best practices.
  • Strong analytical, technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Product Owner (CSPO, PSPO I, PSPO II) will be considered an asset.
  • Your experience and application knowledge in the insurance field, an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Expertise in cloud security, particularly with Azure Log Analytics Workspace, Sentinel, LogicApp, Function App, and Data Collection Rules (DCR), kafka, Kubernetes, DataBrick.
  • Communicates with stakeholders to define the products or products' category vision and strategy ensuring their interests are included in the release.
  • Follows-up with stakeholders and senior management on a need basis.
  • Inspires the team to deliver best-in-class products.
  • Responsible for the business aspects of the project including ensuring the right products are being built in the right order and release is developed by the deadlines.
  • Ensures consistency between products.
  • Leads, plans, tracks and is accountable for all phases of the products life cycle from the beginning of the project to the introduction into the marketplace.
  • Responsible for products and/or products category evolution.
  • Ensures compliance with Intact group policies and standards.
  • Supervises and accompanies resources on internal and external audits.
  • Monitors performance and recommends schedule changes or resource additions.
  • Ensures business objectives and targets are met through data analytics, and feedback.
  • Determines products KPIs and objectives
  • Manage productivity to maintain service delivery (priorities and schedules).
  • Provide leadership and demonstrates solid understanding of security concepts, is accountable for operational end-result deliverables, supervising daily activities through work planning and distribution, fostering teamwork and guiding staff members' training and development.
  • Discovers and proposes new product ideas & design, develops concepts to strategically enhance existing products or product extensions.
  • Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products.
