Senior Product Marketing Manager

tryopine.com•Durham, CA
•$100,000 - $110,000•Hybrid

About The Position

You will be Opine's first product marketing hire, owning product marketing content and sales enablement: translating what our product does into content that moves buyers through every stage of their journey, and making sure every internal customer-facing team can articulate what we shipped and why it matters. This is a hands-on writing and enablement role embedded in a small, fast-moving growth team. The output expectations are high: you will ship constantly. You will work directly with the Head of Growth to collaborate daily with marketing, growth, product, and engineering.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years in product marketing at a B2B SaaS company; experience marketing to technical revenue-team buyers strongly preferred
  • Proven, exceptional writing ability across formats, from a 2,000-word diagnostic guide to a 150-word founder LinkedIn post. Include past writing examples with your application
  • Ability to sit in a product all-hands or read a changelog and independently translate it into customer-facing content without heavy briefing
  • Comfort ghostwriting in someone else's voice
  • Experience building sales enablement assets (battle cards, decks, competitive positioning)
  • Enough technical fluency to write credibly about CRM integrations, AI-driven workflows, and sales engineering work
  • Self-directed operator comfortable owning a broad surface area in an early-stage environment
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Background in or adjacent to presales, sales engineering, or RevOps
  • Experience with HubSpot, Linear, and modern content/SEO tooling
  • Familiarity with buyer-journey or ABM-driven content frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Write and produce editorial content mapped to a structured, multi-stage buyer journey, from prospects who don't yet recognize the problem through active evaluations. Formats include long-form blog posts, research reports, diagnostic guides, interactive self-assessments and calculators, whitepapers, buyer's and comparison guides, and account-specific evaluation materials, among others. Each piece targets a specific stage of buyer awareness, maps to a specific product capability area, and speaks credibly to a technical audience of presales leaders, sales engineers, RevOps, and revenue executives.
  • Attend weekly all-hands and review product change logs to stay current on everything shipped. Turn new features into clear, well-written blog posts explaining what the feature is, the problem it solves, and how it works. Own release email campaigns end-to-end, including audience segmentation in HubSpot, for two distinct tracks: existing customers get how-to focused emails walking them through using the new functionality, while prospective customers get value-focused campaigns positioning the same releases around the problems they solve and why they strengthen the case for adopting Opine.
  • Ghostwrite LinkedIn posts for our CTO announcing and explaining new feature releases, in their voice, translating technical capability into narratives that resonate with revenue leaders.
  • Prepare battle cards and presentations that equip sales to communicate Opine's value, differentiation, and competitive positioning in live deals.
  • Share new feature releases and messaging with customer success, support, sales, and sales engineering so every customer-facing team communicates new capabilities accurately and consistently.
  • Take on any and all other tasks assigned by the Head of Growth. We're an early-stage startup and priorities change fast, so expect to pitch in wherever the team needs it.
  • Partner with marketing, growth, product, and engineering to do all of the above: pulling technical detail from engineering, roadmap context from product, and distribution strategy from growth and marketing.
