About The Position

DomainTools is at an inflection point with strong product-market fit and a rapidly expanding platform. The market is shifting decisively toward AI-native security operations, creating a competitive opportunity for DomainTools. This role is crucial for positioning, launching, and selling the company's intelligence capabilities. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will collaborate with Product, Research, Sales, and Demand Generation teams to translate intelligence and investigative capabilities into clear narratives and effective assets for practitioners and economic buyers. This includes creating battle cards, building launch plans with measurable results, and briefing analysts and sales engineers on the threat intelligence market. The role requires a deep understanding of the market and the ability to articulate the unique value of DomainTools' 25+ years of data, predictive Risk Scoring, guided infrastructure pivots, and AI-native access via the MCP Server.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B product marketing, with meaningful time in cybersecurity.
  • Threat intelligence, DNS or domain data, fraud, security analytics, or SOC-facing products experience is a strong plus.
  • A portfolio demonstrating messaging, launches, and sales assets (battle cards, briefs, decks).
  • Ability to make technical products legible without oversimplifying.
  • Comfort with enterprise security cycles, including intelligence buyers and API data consumers.
  • Sufficient cyber fluency to brief sales engineers or threat intelligence analysts.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI in security operations and a point of view on its impact.
  • Clear, confident writing skills for various collateral.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills with Product, Sales, Research, and Demand Gen.
  • Hands-on experience with investigative or threat intelligence platforms.
  • Experience marketing API or data products.
  • Familiarity with agentic AI workflows and LLM integration in SOC operations.
  • Experience building or marketing within a technology partner or reseller ecosystem.
  • Analyst-relations or partner-marketing exposure.
  • Familiarity with SOC, fraud, or brand protection buying groups.
  • Experience marketing to or within the public sector or federal government.

Responsibilities

  • Own the narrative for assigned products and use cases, including investigation, threat hunting, fraud and brand protection, detection enrichment, and API-first data consumption, keeping it current as the product and market evolve.
  • Write for both SOC analysts/threat hunters and CISO/SOC Directors, translating technical depth into buyer language without oversimplifying.
  • Maintain the messaging framework for website, sales team, partners, and campaigns.
  • Plan and execute go-to-market strategies for product launches and major releases in partnership with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Demand Generation.
  • Define the full launch package including audience, narrative, asset list, enablement plan, and success metrics.
  • Translate the roadmap into an executable launch calendar.
  • Own the AI and agentic SOC narrative as a launch pillar, positioning the MCP Server, AI-native workflows, and the shift from analyst-assisted to autonomous investigation.
  • Build sales enablement assets such as first-call decks, solution briefs, battle cards, talk tracks, objection handlers, demo narratives, and proof points.
  • Train sales and solutions engineering on positioning, competitive differentiation, and demonstration techniques.
  • Participate in key deals, including competitive situations and strategic accounts, to ensure proper narrative framing.
  • Equip resellers and technology partners with messaging for their buyers and go-to-market motions.
  • Track how buyers evaluate DomainTools data and intelligence against competitors.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and market shifts in threat intelligence.
  • Conduct regular win/loss and competitive reviews, feeding insights back to Product and Sales.
  • Bring a point of view to analyst conversations, partner briefings, and market-facing events.
  • Partner with Research and Content on thought leadership tied to real adversary infrastructure.
  • Produce or direct web copy, solution pages, blog posts, customer stories, and proof content.
  • Build the evidence base with customer outcomes, third-party validation data, and use-case proof points.
