Senior Product Marketing Manager

Advantage GroupToronto, ON
Hybrid

About The Position

Advantage Group International is seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to build, lead, and execute the product marketing discipline across its B2B SaaS products and data platforms. This is an inaugural, high-impact role ideal for a strategic and entrepreneurial marketer who can operate independently, partner cross-functionally, and lay the groundwork for bringing technology, data products, and scales to market. The role will shape the voice of the portfolio, define its story, and enable teams to communicate value with clarity and confidence. The position will collaborate extensively with global internal teams and international customers, requiring strong cross-cultural communication skills and flexibility to occasionally work outside of traditional Monday–Friday, 9–5 hours to align with global time zones. Advantage supports lieu time to balance these commitments and maintain work-life harmony.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Product Marketing for B2B SaaS or enterprise technology.
  • Proven ability to create and scale GTM strategies across multiple products or portfolios.
  • Experience in portfolio storytelling — crafting a unified value narrative across multiple offerings.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to translate technical or research-driven products into compelling business stories.
  • Strong collaborator with cross-functional leadership experience in global or matrixed organizations.
  • Adept at independent execution — balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery.
  • Familiarity with market intelligence, segmentation, and buyer journey design.
  • Data-driven mindset, comfortable using insights to refine messaging and GTM tactics.

Nice To Haves

  • Is energized by building from the ground up — defining structure, playbooks, and best practices for a new internal function.
  • Can articulate a unifying story across a diverse portfolio of research and SaaS products.
  • Balances strategic storytelling with hands-on execution — from market positioning to content creation.
  • Has a strong grasp of enterprise and B2B SaaS marketing, with experience influencing product strategy and commercialization.
  • Thrives in global collaboration, working effectively across cultures, time zones, and functional disciplines.
  • Is comfortable as a team of one, while collaborating closely with Product, Research, Marketing, and Client teams to deliver measurable impact.
  • Entrepreneurial — able to build from zero, iterate quickly, and deliver results without an established playbook.
  • Story-driven — passionate about connecting technology, insights, and customer value through narrative.
  • Collaborative — skilled at building strong relationships across global Product, Sales, Research, and Marketing.
  • Curious and analytical — driven to understand client needs, product dynamics, and market trends deeply.
  • Resilient and adaptive — ready to thrive as a team of one in the near term, shaping a function that will grow.

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead the foundation of product marketing across Advantage’s portfolio — defining core frameworks, processes, and standards.
  • Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for each product and for the integrated Advantage platform.
  • Partner with Product Management and Research to shape roadmap narratives, validate market needs, and influence prioritization.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy and launch execution for new products, features, and platform releases.
  • Create sales enablement materials, including pitch decks, one-pagers, and case stories that translate data into customer value.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis to inform positioning, pricing, and customer segmentation.
  • Collaborate with global Marketing to align demand generation campaigns and thought leadership to product goals.
  • Represent the voice of the customer and market, ensuring AGI’s narrative resonates with client needs and opportunities.
  • Establish metrics to measure marketing impact, adoption, and product engagement.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits, including health coverage, mental wellness support, RRSP contributions, and paid personal days.
  • Parental leave: ample support for families
  • Generous PTO, winter holiday closure, birthday and volunteer leave
