Senior Product Manager - AI Engineering
About The Position
The Senior Product Manager will work in Dell Technologies’ Office of the CTO Dojo team to deliver new AI applications and agents, identify emerging user needs, and build product-quality proof-of-concepts. The role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly ambiguous environment, using an agile, fast-fail approach to technology development. Work may include interviewing users, designing features or applications for internal stakeholders, defining research, managing a backlog, and reviewing stories with engineers. The position collaborates with product managers, leadership, engineers, data scientists, technical leads, strategy teams, and other stakeholders to develop technology. It is based in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, and offers the opportunity to contribute to high-visibility work in Dell Technologies’ Office of the CTO.
Requirements
- Be self-motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate about technology and leading projects.
- Have experience interfacing with customers and stakeholders to understand pain points and drive technical requirements.
- Be able and open-minded enough to quickly learn new development methodologies and emerging technologies, including generative AI, agentic AI, data ingestion, and Dev/MLOps.
- Have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Have experience working across and leading cross-functional teams to deliver non-deterministic software.
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience in product management, business, software development, data science, or a similar area; a master’s degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent experience.
- Experience defining and delivering AI applications.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams of researchers and developers, as well as leadership, to lead initiative delivery.
- Define and deliver full-stack AI applications, agents, and capabilities.
- Work with users and stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Develop and maintain a backlog of stories and areas of exploration, and prioritize the work.
- Communicate ongoing status, goals, and plans to executives.
