About The Position

BioRender is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its Growth team and drive adoption and engagement across its expanding product portfolio. The cross-functional team focuses on high-priority growth opportunities, including helping scientists discover and adopt AI and Graphing capabilities, improving the self-serve user experience, and advancing activation, retention, and revenue. The role partners closely with engineering, design, data science, product leadership, marketing, and other teams. The Senior Product Manager identifies growth opportunities, develops and tests hypotheses, and turns insights into measurable product improvements, independently driving initiatives from problem discovery through execution and measurement.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of product management experience, including experience driving growth through product improvements, ideally in a SaaS or product-led business.
  • Proven track record of shipping product improvements that delivered measurable impact on adoption, engagement, retention, conversion, or revenue.
  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience analyzing product data to understand user behavior, identify opportunities, and inform product decisions.
  • Experience designing, running, and evaluating A/B tests or other product experiments, including defining success metrics and making decisions based on results.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous business or product problems, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and translate them into actionable plans.
  • Strong execution skills, including experience working directly with engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and ship product initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, including the ability to build alignment across teams, navigate trade-offs, and influence decisions with data and sound judgment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI-powered products, usage-based pricing, or credit-based monetization.
  • Background in life sciences or experience building products for scientists and researchers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities using product data, user research, and experimentation to improve activation, engagement, retention, and monetization.
  • Develop and test strategies to help users discover and adopt BioRender capabilities, including AI-powered figure creation and scientific graphing.
  • Own growth experiments end to end: form hypotheses, define success metrics, partner with engineering and design to launch experiments, analyze results, and recommend whether to ship, iterate, or stop.
  • Improve the self-serve user journey by addressing friction in onboarding, product discovery, and conversion so users reach value faster and adopt more of BioRender.
  • Develop initiatives that improve product usage, self-serve revenue, and qualified lead generation for the enterprise business.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and other teams to align priorities and deliver initiatives supporting company goals.
  • Lead execution with engineers and designers by defining requirements, prioritizing work, managing scope and trade-offs, and moving projects from concept to launch.
  • Help shape the Growth roadmap by proposing ideas, sizing opportunities, and using data and product judgment to influence investment priorities.

Benefits

  • Remote-first work arrangement with flexibility to work from anywhere in Canada or the U.S.
