Senior Product Manager

Great GrayBoston, MA

About The Position

Great Gray is looking to add a Senior Product Manager to our Product - Technology Team to own the strategy and execution for a key segment of our retirement investment ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of deep stakeholder relationships, data quality, and measurable product outcomes — responsible for shaping the roadmap, driving delivery, and building the internal and external context that makes product decisions sharper. This is a high-ownership role. You will run your own initiatives end-to-end, from problem framing through instrumentation, while also functioning as a critical connective layer between channel stakeholders, engineering, and design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of product management experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex initiatives in a fintech, wealthtech, or data-intensive B2B SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of driving end-to-end delivery — from discovery and problem framing through instrumentation and adoption
  • Enough fluency in API architecture, data systems, and integration patterns to engage credibly with engineering and identify where technical gaps are creating product limitations
  • Experience building stakeholder relationships that produce better product decisions — not just gathering feedback, but co-defining problems and shaping solutions with the people who have the context
  • Has built a metrics practice from scratch — defined what good looks like, instrumented the signals, and used the data to sharpen prioritization
  • Comfortable making good decisions with incomplete information in a fast-moving, low-process environment where building and using the infrastructure often happen at the same time.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset to bring best practice ideas to the team.
  • Your standards reflect our core values: Growth Mindset, Disciplined Curiosity, Grit, Results Ownership, Collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Own initiatives for your area: making prioritization, scope, and sequencing calls, writing specs, defining and owning success metrics and instrumentation, and connecting product decisions to measurable outcomes for both channel stakeholders and the broader platform
  • Gather and synthesize customer insights, market research, and data to make informed product decisions
  • Build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in your channel: translating those relationships into problem space insights, sharp requirements, and effective decisions
  • Partner with engineering, design, and data to shape how problems get framed and what success looks like
  • Represent your channel in cross-functional conversations — communicating tradeoffs and product decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Complete other related duties as assigned

  • Employer-paid life and disability insurance
