About The Position

The Senior Product Manager plays a critical role in driving the end-to-end product lifecycle across Virgo’s digital asset ecosystem. This role is responsible for translating complex business needs into scalable product solutions, leading cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, user-centric products. This position is based in North York, Ontario and follows a hybrid work model, with four (4) days in-office and one (1) remote workday per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.

Requirements

You have a Bachelor’s Degree (or above) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar, with an excellent academic record
5+ years of experience in designing webs and apps
Knowledge of product design, management and development
Knowledge of Finance, Trading and Blockchain technology
You’re able to articulate software concepts and designs precisely
Ability to review technical specifications and rewrite them as a functional requirements specification.
Ability to investigate and assess issues to make sure the correct solution is implemented
Ability to follow all company policies and procedures, as well as internal departmental procedures to ensure high-quality products
Ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and to transition quickly from one request to another in an individual or team environment
Well-developed presentation skills in conveying factual, technical and conceptual information in a manner which is easily understood
Effective time management and organizational skills
Excellent Computer Skills – Figma, Jira, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, MS Project and Excel required
You have excellent written and verbal English

Nice To Haves

Experience in the Money Remittance or Payment industry is valuable
Bilingual is an asset, especially in Chinese Mandarin

Responsibilities

Conduct competitor analysis at a high quality
Complete the process design and product design based on the requirements from other departments
Assess and research the product solution for design and implementation best practices
Outline and document all requirements from different departments of assigned solutions
Keep user experience features in mind and improve the UX during the whole process
Hold the product release training sessions
Collaborate with the development team and QA to provide a quality product within the appropriate time frame
Deliver quality product enhancements within the schedule
Recommend new products and enhancements consistent with product goals
Create technical documentation where necessary
Be responsible for troubleshooting system issues as and when they occur
Provide status reporting to the project manager as required
Manage the product manager team and coordinate with other product managers
Perform other duties as assigned
Work as part of a dynamic team in an agile environment with minimal supervision
