Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management in a customer-facing, B2B context.
  • Deep domain knowledge of observability.
  • Prior experience as a software engineer or DevOps engineer.
  • Proven ability to build and manage a pragmatic product roadmap.
  • Use of Agentic AI tools in your daily workflow to increase productivity and output.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform product decisions.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with developer tooling, build systems, or CI/CD products.
  • Experience with building AI-powered products, agentic workflows, or LLM-based tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Define and articulate a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Toolchain Observability, considering the impact of AI-driven development on telemetry and team needs across the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify opportunities and unmet needs in cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments.
  • Develop business cases for new product initiatives.
  • Establish product direction for how AI agents and autonomous workflows leverage Develocity's toolchain observability capabilities.
  • Collaborate with the AI strategy team to identify opportunities for AI-driven observability and diagnostics using Develocity's data and expertise.
  • Stay updated on AI tooling advancements and evaluate their impact on telemetry, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
  • Gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements from customers, sales, support, and engineering.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into prioritized functional requirements with clear value propositions.
  • Make pragmatic roadmap prioritization decisions with clear rationale.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing on go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and messaging.
  • Develop go-to-market materials to support enterprise sales.
  • Partner with customer-facing teams to address customer pain points.
  • Evangelize products through presentations to customers, partners, and internally.
  • Engage with industry standards bodies and communities related to Developer and Agent Productivity Engineering and software delivery observability.
  • Act as an external thought leader in the Toolchain Observability space.
