Senior Product Manager

QuandriVancouver, BC
CA$150,000 - CA$200,000Remote

About The Position

Quandri is seeking a Senior Product Manager to build the company's next product, expanding their AI operating system into commercial lines of insurance. This is a zero-to-one opportunity, building on a foundation of existing technology, revenue, and customers. The role involves owning the product end-to-end, from discovery with agencies to defining, building, and launching the product. The Senior Product Manager will report to the VP of Product and will be instrumental in defining Quandri's entry into the commercial market and establishing the playbook for future market expansions. Success is defined by market entry and early customer adoption. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity and enjoys frequent customer interaction.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a track record of shipping products that drive measurable business outcomes in fast-moving environments.
  • 0-to-1 experience taking a product from concept through discovery, launch, and early scaling, under ambiguous requirements and with limited historical data.
  • Strong discovery skills, including customer research to uncover root workflow problems, interviewing brokers/account managers, mapping operational workflows, and translating findings into product requirements.
  • Platform thinking: ability to assess how a new product area fits an existing platform, leverage shared infrastructure, and identify needs for net-new capabilities.
  • Prioritization based on outcome hypotheses and business impact, not just feature requests.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority and navigating conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
  • Bias toward action and comfort making decisions with imperfect information.
  • Fluency with AI-first prototyping tools such as Replit, Lovable, Make, and Claude Code for rapid solution exploration and validation.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience at a commercial lines carrier, MGA, wholesale broker, or insurtech serving the commercial market.
  • Hands-on experience with broker management systems (Applied Epic, AMS360, Hawksoft), including understanding commercial policy data structure and storage differences from personal lines.
  • Understanding of ACORD standards and commercial data exchange (ACORD forms, certificate issuance, carrier submission workflows).
  • Experience moving an existing platform into a new market segment (e.g., SMB to enterprise, personal to commercial).
  • Experience at high-growth, venture-backed companies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial discovery to conclusions by spending time with account managers, producers, and agency leaders to map the commercial renewal workflow.
  • Define the product, including what to build, necessary data, and user experience, based on discovery findings.
  • Set the commercial product strategy and own the roadmap, deciding on platform reuse versus new capabilities and sequencing for rapid market entry and learning.
  • Own 0-to-1 product development from problem definition through launch and iteration, validating solutions with prototypes and designing experiments to test assumptions.
  • Lead cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, implementation, and customer success, influencing platform decisions and educating the organization on commercial lines nuances.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on commercial positioning, target customers, and early adopter criteria, selecting design partners and incorporating their feedback.
  • Define metrics connecting product usage to broker outcomes, prioritizing learning velocity and adapting the product and strategy based on results.
