About The Position

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to take new products from conception to launch. The role involves significant customer interaction, market analysis, and strategic decision-making. The Product Manager will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery and development through to launch and post-launch performance analysis. This position reports to product leadership and collaborates closely with the CEO, requiring active participation in setting company direction. The role heavily utilizes AI tools, and candidates are expected to leverage these tools and contribute innovative AI applications to the product development process.

Requirements

  • Five to six years of experience in product management.
  • Experience with products in their early stages, where a clear playbook is not yet established.
  • Demonstrated real-world use of AI in daily work, including building agents for research, synthesis, competitive tracking, marketing, and repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to discuss a past decision that was incorrect and the subsequent actions taken.
  • Willingness to make decisions with incomplete information, understanding the cost of waiting.
  • Strong writing skills or experience with AI-generated writing for documentation.
  • Sufficient technical depth to be taken seriously by engineers and to question estimates.
  • Experience shipping products is valued over the specific industry or company where it was shipped.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and own the strategy for your product area, including making a case for it and adapting it based on new learnings.
  • Create and manage the product roadmap, making decisions about what features are prioritized and being able to justify these decisions.
  • Conduct customer discovery through calls and demos to clearly define problems.
  • Perform customer research by directly engaging with customers.
  • Contribute to the commercial aspects of the product, including market sizing and pricing input, and setting revenue targets.
  • Collaborate daily with engineering and design teams throughout the product development cycle, from prototype to general availability.
  • Partner with marketing and sales on product positioning and launch activities, including post-launch follow-up.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activities and their implications for the company.
  • Enhance personal leverage by building necessary AI agents and automation for research, reporting, and other tasks.
  • Manage go-to-market strategies, including positioning, launch communications, advertising budgets, sales enablement, and providing product expertise for key deals.
