About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Product Manager as part of the Account Opening and Maintenance (AOM) and Money Movement (MM) Product Group within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM). The primary goals of this Product team are to deliver innovative account opening and maintenance and money movement solutions that best serve our clients, financial advisors, and home office team members. The Senior Product Manager will manage Veritas issues and corrective actions for the AOM and MM product.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate effectively with other business and technology areas
  • Ability to exercise independent judgement to identify and resolve problems with a focus on actionable outcomes.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the proven ability to manage multiple processes and tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively and lead in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to take initiative and respond pro-actively to issues and escalations
  • Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage AOM and MM Veritas Issues and Corrective Actions.
  • Identify and escalate issues and risks including items that are off track or at risk of missing deadlines.
  • Shared oversight with Corrective Action owners and Business Control Managers to ensure Issues and CAs meet due dates.
  • Manage and track all impacts and ensure new controls are created or modified where necessary.
  • Track all necessary deadlines.
  • Partner with Product Delivery, Technology and Operations to collect evidence required to close out Issues and CAs.
  • Collect status/details of each CA and present key information during bi-weekly meetings.
  • Manage and coordinate various efforts such as client remediations.
  • Lead effort to identify release impacts to controls across RAUs.
  • Organize demos, list of controls and functionality to be assessed coordinating with Operations, Product Delivery and control partners.
  • Maintain Role-Based Access Controls for the AOM and MM product by partnering with managers to certify entitlements for product roles several times throughout the year.
