Senior Product Manager

Nozomi Networks
•$160,297 - $197,378

About The Position

Nozomi Networks is hiring a Senior / Staff Product Manager to lead the development of a new OT-native CMDB and service management platform intended to become the system of record for industrial operations. The platform is in its design and early-access phase, and its data model is still being shaped with enterprise and mid-market customers. It will combine asset records and change histories with first-party asset data from Nozomi Networks sensors, helping customers verify recorded information against live network data. AI is a core part of the platform, including agents that monitor for changes, initiate work, and answer questions about asset history. The Product Manager will own the problem and work with engineering to design the solution. The role spans data modeling, identity and reconciliation, configurable workflows, integrations with existing CMDB and ITSM systems, and decisions about where AI can act versus where human approval is needed. The role works directly with early-access customers, collaborates daily with engineering in Europe and a cross-functional product team, and reports to the VP of Product. Travel to Europe is required one week per quarter. Nozomi Networks provides OT and IoT cybersecurity for enterprises and government entities across industries including energy, manufacturing, transportation, resources, and critical infrastructure. The company emphasizes transparency, trust, accountability, integrity, customer success, and diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Requirements

  • Product ownership of a CMDB, asset, or configuration data product sold to multiple customers, including responsibility for record structure, source reconciliation, attestation, and retained history.
  • At least 5 years of B2B product management experience at a software vendor.
  • Strong data modeling skills, including the ability to explain schema tradeoffs and relevant prior lessons to engineers.
  • Experience defining identity or reconciliation rules to match records across multiple sources without a single reliable key, and modeling how records change over time.
  • Experience shipping workflow, approval, or change management capabilities; configurable customer-adaptable defaults are particularly relevant.
  • Practical judgment about where AI agents should act and where people should approve.
  • Comfort working with enterprise customers and technical stakeholders across operations, security, and IT.
  • Ability to travel to Europe one week per quarter.

Nice To Haves

  • Product ownership of platforms such as ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, ITOM Visibility, Change Management, or Operational Technology Management; BMC Helix CMDB; Freshservice / Device42; Cognite; IBM Maximo; or SAP EAM.
  • Experience with matching and master data platforms such as Tamr, Reltio, Informatica MDM, or Axonius.
  • Background in configuration management, IT and cyber asset management, master data management, entity resolution, industrial knowledge graphs, or EAM/CMMS products.
  • OT experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the OT-native CMDB data model, including assets, installed positions, locations and ISA-95 hierarchies, relationships, and asset change history from installation to retirement.
  • Define how recorded asset states relate to live network data and how the platform handles discrepancies.
  • Determine how assets not visible to the network, such as offline equipment or spreadsheet imports, are represented alongside observed assets, preserving the distinction between observed and declared values.
  • Partner with engineering to define identity and reconciliation rules for records from sensors, integrations, and spreadsheets, including source precedence and value traceability.
  • Set requirements for engineering’s asset-matching capabilities.
  • Shape default workflows for planned and unplanned changes, vulnerability remediation, asset changes, and safety approvals on a configurable workflow engine, including evidence that a change was completed.
  • Define how the platform integrates with existing CMDB and ITSM systems, including record ownership and work flows between systems.
  • Help decide which workflow tasks AI agents can perform and which require human approval.
  • Own product decisions, negotiate solutions with engineering, define release requirements, and drive timely decisions.
  • Work directly with early-access customers to validate the product, learn, and ship.
  • Collaborate with the Europe-based engineering team and cross-functional product team.
  • Promote Nozomi Networks’ cultural pillars of transparency, trust, and accountability.
