Senior Product Manager

ENFRA LLC•Little Rock, AR
•$91,449 - $122,081

About The Position

The Senior Product Manager is the accountable owner of a technology platform within ENFRA’s software product portfolio, including AI-powered tools and operational workflow systems. The role sets the product roadmap, identifies operational workflows to transform, frames problems, builds business cases, and drives delivery and adoption with minimal direction. It works across technical users—including engineers, analysts, modelers, and field staff—and software engineering teams to turn subject-matter expertise into buildable specifications. The Senior Product Manager partners with the product leader for the relevant business area on portfolio strategy, mentors Product Managers and Business Analysts, and serves as the recognized platform owner for its users. The role leads product discovery, research, prototyping, delivery, launch, enablement, and adoption, while using telemetry and operational data to assess product outcomes. The position requires 0–15% travel. The work environment is quiet. Physical requirements include prolonged standing or sitting, climbing stairs, repetitive wrist, hand, or finger motions, and assessing the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of work. The role involves light work, including adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds. The listed pay range is USD $91,449.00–$122,080.50 per year.

Requirements

  • At least five years of related product management experience, including full ownership of a product or platform rather than individual features.
  • Ability to work independently across strategic and tactical responsibilities, setting direction and executing without close supervision.
  • Hands-on experience conducting user research and usability testing, with an interest in continuing to do this work personally.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-assisted design tools, such as Claude Design or Magic Patterns, to create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes without relying on a dedicated designer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to adjust detail and technical depth for the audience.
  • Ability to elicit requirements from subject-matter experts in a technical discipline outside software and translate them into buildable specifications.
  • Experience transforming manual or legacy processes into modern app-based workflows, including post-launch adoption work.
  • Experience delivering AI-powered features or automation, such as LLM integration, intelligent document processing, or workflow automation, and a working understanding of their reliability and limitations.
  • Comfort presenting directly to end users, leading demos, and answering unscripted product questions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, including setting limits, managing competing priorities, and building credibility with technical users.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working directly with product and operational data.
  • Experience with agile development processes and close collaboration with engineering teams throughout delivery.
  • Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to work outside the defined scope when necessary.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering; four years of directly related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience mentoring or formally leading Product Managers or Business Analysts.
  • Experience building and maintaining a design system or working within one to keep prototypes consistent with an established component library.
  • Experience in energy-as-a-service, energy efficiency, sustainability, AEC, or another engineering-services industry.
  • Working understanding of building systems, energy and sustainability methodologies, or comparable technical domain knowledge.
  • Technical background sufficient to read a data model, follow an API discussion, and reason about system constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single accountable owner of an assigned platform, setting its roadmap, managing backlog decisions, accepting or rejecting delivered work, and answering for product outcomes.
  • Drive strategic and tactical work independently, from multi-quarter direction through writing individual stories.
  • Maintain a discovery runway so upcoming engineering work is researched, specified, and ready in advance.
  • Develop UI and UX for roadmap items using AI-assisted design tools to create interactive prototypes and validate direction with users before engineering begins.
  • Balance forward-looking product decisions with delivery needs without allowing in-sprint issues to displace future product work.
  • Represent the platform to users by leading demos, release communications, and recurring user meetings.
  • Lead requirements development end to end, including elicitation, analysis, specification, and validation, and improve requirements quality across the product team.
  • Personally conduct user research and usability testing with technical staff and synthesize findings into product decisions.
  • Identify and pitch opportunities to modernize data-heavy operational workflows through AI and application development, including sizing opportunities and defining success measures.
  • Define and instrument product telemetry, then use adoption and usage data to evaluate whether features changed their intended workflows.
  • Drive launch, enablement, adoption, and internal change management to help teams move away from legacy processes.
  • Mentor Product Managers and Business Analysts in discovery, written specifications, and stakeholder communication.
  • Resolve ambiguity and conflicting stakeholder priorities without escalating every decision.
  • Collaborate with product, development, engineering, and project teams across the business.
