Senior Product Manager

Suger.ioSan Francisco, CA
$140,000 - $200,000

About The Position

Suger helps B2B software companies sell through cloud marketplaces like AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle, Alibaba, and Snowflake. Marketplace sales are operationally complex, involving pricing, contracting, billing, revenue recognition, and compliance across multiple cloud providers. Suger's API-first revenue platform simplifies these complexities for quote-to-cash and marketplace workflows. Launched in 2022, Suger serves over 300 B2B customers, ranging from large enterprises to startups. As a Series A company backed by prominent investors, Suger is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the product roadmap for Insulin, a new product focused on AI-driven automation in revenue operations. This role involves end-to-end strategy, design, and execution of Insulin, transforming complex revenue workflows into intelligent and intuitive customer experiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management or Product Design experience in technology, ideally within B2B SaaS, developer platforms, or enterprise software, with a portfolio or track record demonstrating strong product and design judgment.
  • Track record of shipping AI-powered features to production, with strong judgment around where automation creates value and where human oversight is necessary to earn user trust.
  • Strong product design sensibility, with an eye for interaction details, intuitive workflows, and polished user experiences, not just requirements and specifications.
  • Comfort with technical complexity, including systems such as billing infrastructure, APIs, data pipelines, or fintech and compliance workflows. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable going deep with one.
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional partner, able to work effectively with engineering, GTM, and customers to turn complex problems into clear product decisions.
  • Startup mindset, with a bias toward action, comfort with ambiguity, and a strong sense of ownership from customer discovery through launch and iteration.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product roadmap for intelligent systems that automate pricing, contracting, billing, and compliance workflows, with a focus on building AI-powered products that meaningfully improve how customers operate.
  • Design end-to-end user journeys and product experiences for AI-powered workflows, bringing strong product taste to every interaction. Translate complex technical capabilities into intuitive, transparent experiences and continuously iterate based on real customer behavior and feedback.
  • Partner closely with engineering to turn AI capabilities into reliable production features, balancing customer impact, system reliability, model behavior, and engineering complexity when making product decisions. Ensure AI-powered experiences are correct, explainable, and trustworthy.
  • Define and track success metrics including adoption, accuracy, efficiency gains, automation rates, and customer outcomes, using both quantitative data and qualitative feedback to guide product iteration.
  • Work closely with Customer Success and Solutions teams to gather qualitative and quantitative feedback and occasionally support onboarding, developing a deep understanding of customer workflows, edge cases, and trust concerns around AI-driven automation.

Benefits

  • Monthly office stipends, including lunch and commuting benefits.
  • Comprehensive healthcare coverage, including extended health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
