About The Position

Caribou is hiring an experienced, hands-on Senior Product Manager to build products that support home care organizations and caregivers. The role is suited to a product generalist who can take ownership of complex problems, move from ambiguity to clear priorities, and deliver products that create measurable value for users and the business in a fast-paced startup environment. The Senior Product Manager will own the full product lifecycle, from discovery and prioritization through development, launch, measurement, and iteration. The role works closely with Engineering, Design, Customer Success, Leadership, customers, and end users. It balances longer-term product direction with rapid delivery and incremental value, and includes occasional travel to the U.S. to meet users. The position is full-time and open to candidates based in Toronto or Montreal. Caribou works remotely, with in-person opportunities for retreats, team events, and customer meetings. The team primarily operates out of Toronto with one day a week in-office, while remote work options are available. The salary range is $150,000 to $180,000.

  • Excellent product judgment, including knowing when to investigate further, challenge assumptions, and make decisions with available information.
  • A scrappy, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to make progress with imperfect information and limited resources.
  • Strong technical fluency and ability to collaborate with Engineering on constraints, trade-offs, and practical solutions.
  • A customer-centric approach grounded in curiosity, empathy, and a desire to solve meaningful problems.
  • Comfort using data to guide prioritization, evaluate product performance, and demonstrate impact.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment where priorities evolve and ownership matters.
