Senior Product Manager

TaskRayDenver, CO
$140,000 - $180,000Remote

About The Position

TaskRay is a leader in post-sale work management within the Salesforce ecosystem, focusing on ensuring a flawless customer experience after a sale is closed. The company aims to make the transition from sales to customer success seamless, driving efficiency and creating exceptional customer experiences all within Salesforce. TaskRay is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a product area focused on AI-driven project management, specifically defining how people and AI agents work together productively. This role involves defining product strategy, writing requirements, and collaborating with customers, sales, engineering, and executive leadership. The position is ideal for someone who wants to shape the future of the AI product category within the post-sale work management space.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in product management for B2B or enterprise SaaS, preferably owning an area from discovery through adoption.
  • Track record of decisions that moved the business, with specifics: named accounts, revenue saved or won, deals turned around.
  • Hands-on prototype building with tools like Claude, Lovable, or Cursor.
  • Real fluency with AI systems: prompt design, understanding LLM limitations, experience building evals, and judgment about human involvement in agent loops.
  • Strong PRD writing skills: requirements a team can build from without constant back-and-forth, organized around user goals.
  • Commercial range: comfortable on discovery calls, in sales conversations, pitching a vision to enterprise buyers, and in QBRs.
  • Experience working where product owns the 'what' and 'why' and engineering owns the 'how'.

Nice To Haves

  • Designed agent or conversational experiences and know a good one from a bad one, or worked with agent frameworks, MCP, and products used by machines as much as people.
  • Forward-deployed, solutions, implementation, or professional-services background.
  • Salesforce experience: managed packages, AppExchange, or building within platform limits.
  • Background in onboarding, project management, PSA, or post-sale workflow products, including early-access or design-partner programs.

Responsibilities

  • Define product strategy and roadmap for AI-driven project management, focusing on human-agent collaboration.
  • Write Product Requirements Documents (PRDs) that clearly outline goals, customer jobs, journeys, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct customer discovery to understand needs, validate demand, and identify AI workflows customers will pay for.
  • Build and test prototypes to validate ideas and gather customer feedback.
  • Define agents, skills, and workflows that customers can own and extend.
  • Design for failure scenarios, including audit trails, permissions, rollback, and evaluation loops.
  • Utilize AI tools in personal work and coach other PMs on their use.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success on deals, renewals, and customer feedback.
  • Partner with Engineering and Solutions teams on product delivery.
  • Present requirements, designs, and priorities to Product Council for review.
  • Share commercial strategy with sales, participate in deals, and influence pricing, packaging, and positioning.
  • Work with Customer Success on product rollout and adoption.
  • Treat engineering as an equal partner, agreeing on the problem and success criteria, and letting them own the 'how'.

  • Every other Friday off (Fri-yay!)
  • 12 weeks paid family and medical leave; 16 weeks for birthing people
