About The Position

Natera's Real-World Data (RWD) ClinicalAI team converts clinical documents into structured data through a platform that supports key company initiatives using RWD. The Senior Product Manager owns the experience of people using the platform in their day-to-day operations and owns agentic workflows end to end—from translating stakeholder processes into reliable automation to deciding where AI agents act and where people remain involved, and ensuring the final outputs are useful. This is an individual-contributor product management role. The product manager shadows users, investigates data, writes requirements, and drives changes from idea through rollout, with a continuous focus on efficiency and innovation. The role partners closely with engineering, software quality, clinical teams, AI scientists, and business stakeholders who consume the data. It focuses on simplifying high-volume workflows for expert users, producing trustworthy and actionable AI outputs, and measuring impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of product management experience, including launching two or more user-facing software products or major releases.
  • Experience owning workflow software used throughout the day by expert users, such as data abstraction or curation, annotation or labeling tools, clinical operations, or case management, where user productivity and data quality are core metrics.
  • Strong hands-on experience defining and shipping products built on LLM-based agents or agentic workflows, with understanding of evaluation, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop design sufficient to make tradeoffs with engineers and AI scientists.
  • An AI-native working style, using AI tools regularly for product discovery, user-research synthesis, data analysis, requirements drafting, workflow prototyping, and pressure-testing ideas.
  • Track record of taking AI workflows from prototype to production and delivering them end to end to a business stakeholder with clear acceptance criteria and measured adoption.
  • Strong UX sensibility and product craft, including shaping complex, multi-step workflows into intuitive interfaces in close collaboration with designers and engineers.
  • Hands-on user research and continuous product-improvement skills, including shadowing users, running usability tests, investigating workarounds, and translating observations into prioritized changes.
  • Experience organizing high-volume request streams and rolling out changes to large or distributed user groups, including vendor teams, with severity rules, response targets, training, and change management.
  • Comfort working hands-on with data, including writing SQL or using equivalent tools to check status, investigate issues, and measure outcomes.
  • Experience owning an Agile team backlog, writing user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira, and working through sprint planning with engineering and QA.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with end users, engineers, and operations leads, including creating documentation and training materials people use.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with real-world data, clinical chart abstraction, or human-in-the-loop data-quality programs.
  • Fluency in oncology or clinical concepts such as diagnoses, lines of therapy, biomarkers, and staging, or the ability to ramp up quickly alongside clinical partners.
  • Experience shipping AI-assisted workflows in which people review model output, such as pre-filled values, confidence cues, or recommendations.
  • Experience in regulated healthcare, including HIPAA and PHI handling.

Responsibilities

  • Own the user-experience backlog and priorities for the user-facing application, including case review and editing, document navigation and evidence, work queues, and administrative review, aligned with the platform roadmap.
  • Improve efficiency without compromising accuracy by shadowing end users, measuring how they spend their time, and validating problems before committing them to the backlog.
  • Turn intricate, multi-step review workflows into clear, intuitive interfaces.
  • Define how new AI capabilities appear to end users, pilot them with leads, and roll them out without disrupting live production work.
  • Own agentic workflows from discovery through launch, validation, and iteration; translate stakeholder needs into phased workflows, determine where agents act and where people stay in the loop, and ensure results are accurate, auditable, and efficient at scale.
  • Deliver usable outputs to stakeholder teams by agreeing on completed-output criteria and success measures, confirming outputs are used in their work, and following up when they are not.
  • Partner with AI scientists and engineers to move agent prototypes into production; assess evaluation results for user and stakeholder impact, determine appropriate workflow autonomy, and own pilots, rollouts, and success metrics.
  • Own the onboarding playbook for new user groups, including internal teams and vendor partners, covering access and roles, test-environment training cases, team-lead setup, and support materials.
  • Plan user-facing releases so changes are tested, communicated, and adopted, with documentation and training developed alongside clinical leads.
  • Replace manual work with self-service by owning the user experience and rollout of in-platform workflows and driving delivery teams' adoption of self-service project setup.
  • Define and track KPIs and use them to guide priorities.
  • Measure adoption after launch, iterate, and retire workarounds and manual processes when the product replaces them.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans for eligible employees and their dependents.
  • Free testing for employees and their immediate families.
  • Fertility care benefits.
  • Pregnancy and baby bonding leave.
  • 401(k) benefits.
  • Commuter benefits.
  • Employee referral program.
